Nikiti, Halkidiki

A medieval village, turquoise beaches, and pine forests at the gateway to Sithonia — the quietest and most beautiful of Halkidiki's three peninsulas.

A Village That Has Kept Its Soul

Nikiti is one of the most atmospheric villages in Halkidiki. Perched on a small hill above the coast, the old town is a labyrinth of cobbled lanes, stone houses with terracotta roofs, and Byzantine watch towers that have stood for centuries.

Unlike the resort towns further along the peninsula, Nikiti has preserved its character: local tavernas shaded by ancient plane trees, a central square buzzing with life in summer evenings, and a pace that invites you to slow down.

The modern part of the village extends along the coast, with a small marina, a sandy beach, and a handful of cafés and restaurants facing the Toroneos Gulf.
